SUMMARY:Félagsfundur um mótahald
DESCRIPTION:Mót eru stærsti félagsviðburður félagsins á hverju ári. Á aðalfundi félagsins 14. apríl s.l. voru mótamál til umræðu. Á næstu dögum mun stjórn og mótanefnd Hestamannafélagsins Geysis birta stuttar greinar um mótahald og óska eftir viðbrögðum félagsmanna á opnum fundi um mótahald.\n\nKeppnissvæði Geysis er eitt það besta á landinu. Aðstaðan sem byggð hefur verið upp á Rangárbökkum jafnt og þétt verður stöðugt betri. Við höfum verið gríðarlega stolt af því hversu öflugt mótahaldið er en ljóst er að við stöndum fyrir mótum fyrir mun fleiri en bara okkar félagsmenn\, það gerir það líka að verkum að mótin verða enn sterkari en ella með meiri samkeppni innan greina.\n\nÞað gerist ekkert af sjálfu sér. Hjá Hestamannafélaginu Geysi er þriggja manna mótanefnd sem ber ábyrgð á framkvæmd allra móta. Nefndina skipa Sóley Margeirsdóttir (formaður)\, Guðmundur Friðrik Björgvinsson og Ólafur Þórisson. Sú nefnd hefur heimild til þess að skipa undirbúningsnefnd fyrir hvert mót/viðburð. Hestamannafélagið Geysir kemur að Æsku Suðurlands og Suðurlandsdeild og heldur svo Vetrarmót\, Íþróttamót\, Gæðingamót og Suðurlandsmót (Yngri flokka og fullorðinna).\n\nHestamannafélagið Geysir hefur verið gríðarlega lukkulegt með hversu margir eru reiðubúnir að leggja hönd á plóg í framkvæmd viðburða félagsins. Það er hinsvegar svo að færri og færri eru reiðubúnir að taka frá heilu dagana hvað þá helgarnar til þess að halda mót en það er það sem til þarf til þess að mótahald geti haldist jafn öflugt og verið hefur.\n\nSé það vilji félagsmanna að halda uppi öflugu mótahaldi þá þurfa félagsmenn hreinlega að setja mótahald í forgang. Merkja við í dagatalinu hvenær mót fari fram og eru það heilagar dagsetningar\, ekki þurfa þó allir að gefa kost á sér alltaf eða heilu helgarnar. En mikilvægt er að sem flestir gefi kost á sér á einhverjum tíma.\n\nBoðað verður til fundar um mótahald 6. maí kl. 20 í Rangárhöllinni. Þar óskum við sérstaklega eftir því að þátttakendur móta mæti.\n\nMót sumarsins:29. maí – 1. Júní WR Íþróttamót Geysis20. – 22. Júní Gæðingamót Geysis15. – 17. Ágúst WR Suðurlandsmót yngri flokka22. – 24. Ágúst WR Suðurlandsmót\n\nHér er hlekkur á eyðublað þar sem þú getur skráð þitt framlag til mótahalds sumarsins.https://forms.gle/6UNmNXCDwhysCPdu9
